The Inaugral Autism Info Golf Day was held at Mullumbimby Golf Course on Sunday, 5th November 2006 and attracted over 60 players on the day. Fun was had by all and with the support of the golf club and some very generous sponsors, we raised just over $2500 for Spectrum Parenting Magazine. We would like to thank all the players on the day as well as the members and staff of Mullumbimby Golf Course, who worked so hard to ensure that the day was a success. Special thanks go to Max McLeod, Mike Wilsdon and Norma Dwyer who recruited players, organised the event and worked hard to obtain a huge amount of prizes. So much fun was had that the Golf Day is now part of the clubs annual agenda and planning is already under way for 2007! |
