About Us


Autism Info Australia is a not-for-profit registered charity based in the Tweed Region dedicated to providing the most up to date information on ASD as well as providing a voice for all members of the Autistic community. Spectrum Parenting Magazine is the flagship publication of the company and it hopes to provide a wealth of information for families, carers and health professionals involved in the ASD community.

We wish to promote services, interventions and therapies available in Australia today and also spotlighting the stories, struggles and successes of families throughout Australia in dealing with autism and the challenges it can often present.

Our Staff

Traci-Ann Garrad
Director/Chair/Editor-In-Chief

Traci-Ann has worked for 16 years as Executive Assistant to CEO’s and Managing Directors of large blue chip corporations both in Australia and in the United Kingdom. During this time she has gained experience in direct marketing, internet and intranet development as well as business and project management. Traci-Ann has undertaken studies in Psychology & Philosophy (Monash University), English Literature, Cinema Studies and Journalism (Birkbeck College, University of London). For the last two years, she has run her own successful business, The Clever Little Secretary, providing internet design and marketing services to a range of clients within the Tweed area.

In January 2006 at the age of 2 years, her son Xander was diagnosed with late onset autism spectrum disorder and her family embarked on research to enable them to develop a comprehensive Early Intervention programme. Her experiences formed the foundations of Autism Info Australia and the subsequent development of Spectrum Parenting Magazine.


Tracy Allingham
Director/Secretary/Financial Controller


Tracy has over 10 years experience in bookeeping, accounts, business management, office management and customer relations. Tracy also has experience as an ABA Therapist working closely with a range of medical professionals including psychologists, speech pathologists, occupational therapists and doctors.

She joins Spectrum Parenting Magazine from her role as Director and partner in The Clever Little Secretary and brings not only her own experiences with autism with her, but a wealth of business and financial acumen to ensure that the publication remains a free service for all our readers.


Emily Ashton
Trainee - Graphic Design & Internet Development


Emily joins Autism Info Australia on a traineeship and is currently undertaking a Certificate III in Business but is also a very talented trainee graphic designer and web designer.

Emily is responsible for the upkeep of the Autism Info Website and assists in the compilation and online management of Spectrum Parenting Magazine.
